One of these pioneering erotic filmmakers is Petra Joy, an independent producer who finances her own films and enjoys breaking mainstream porn rules. Her focus is on female pleasure and to show male objects of female desires. Her art-core films like “Female Fantasies” have become women’s porn classics. This film tells the very personal story of her mission to make alternative, sex-positive and feminist porn from a female point of view. It was shot over a three year period fly-on-the-wall style with the help of many collaborators. The documentary goes behind the scenes at Petra’s shoots and her porn workshops for women, follows her to adult trade shows and alternative film festivals and features the growing world-wide network of feminist pornographers. Mit der Hilfe zahlreicher Mitstreiterinnen wurde diese observierende Dokumentation ueber drei Jahre lang gedreht.
