“Sensuality, Creativity and Respect/Humor/Inspiration”

1. My Background

I am a sex positive artist. As an independent erotic filmmaker I finance, produce and direct my own erotic films and am solely responsible for the content. In close co-operation with my team of performers and crew we create visual journeys into erotic female fantasies. My films are based on erotic fantasies that customers of my erotic photo shoots, girlfriends and interested women from all over the world have shared with me. And of course, some of the fantasies are my own.

2. Content

The focus of my erotic films is female pleasure. I would like to empower the women who appear and who view my films to experience their own personal pleasures away from the stereotypes of female sexuality in mainstream porn. Most porn is done by men for men, expressing male desires. No wonder these films do not turn women on. I feel the need to create an alternative to the flood of images that reduce women to their genitals.

I believe in a return to sensuality and portray a sex play that is enriched by intimacy, creativity and humour. I love to show women being caressed and receiving oral sex as we do not see enough of this and many women still feel guilty to ask to be pleasured. I also like to show men as objects of female sexual desires as there is a lack of male pin up culture that is aimed at women rather than gay men in our culture. I choose to embrace taboo subjects such as male bisexuality and the prostate as an erogenous zone for (heterosexual) men.

I call my films art-core, rather than hard-core. Even though I do feature erections, penetration and show “real sex”, I do not feel I have much in common with 90% of films in the genre of hard-core porn. I am an aestheticist and enjoy making sensuality the subject of my visual experimental art.

3. Production values

All performers only experience during a shoot what gives them pleasure. I would like the performers to “feel it, not fake it” as I want to capture genuine sensual pleasures on film. There are no faked orgasms. I do take my time in filming the scenes, there is no list of positions to tick off, so the sensuality can develop and unravel based on the enjoyment and passion of the performers. I do believe in and promote safe sex. All of my performers have an up-to-date test for STD’s, and if they are not a couple they will have penetrative sex only with a condom.

4. Feminism and porn

I agree with the opinion of many feminists that a lot of mainstream porn is degrading to women and glorifies violence. This is the reason why I was active in the anti-porn movement in Germany in the 80’s. But these days it is not enough to just be against something – I would like to create alternatives. I do not want to leave the production of sexual images completely in male hands. The time is right for women to reclaim the genre of erotic films and create images that we perceive as sensual, that inspire and excite us, even if they might leave men cold.

I choose to work with female performers that the female viewer can identify with. My films are a “silicone-free zone” and I like to show a variety of body types rather than just one “ideal” woman. The men appearing in my films are not cast by the size of their penis but by their ability to enjoy giving women pleasure.

5. Limits

I choose not to portray any sexual actions that many women experience as degrading such as forced fellatio, extreme anal sex and cum shot into the woman’s face.
